The Oklahoma State Fair is held in Oklahoma City. I guess I'm a bit amused that they would have a Canadian supplier bring Tipis to the heart of Indian Country. Nothing wrong with it mind you, but just one of those things that seems a little out of kilter.

I can explain. They put out a tender for product and services.....and put a cap on price. The price was too low... so we just bid what we normally would. No one else bid so they gave it to us (and are paying what we bid). The real clincher was we would deliver and train their staff.

If we get a big bunch for St. Louis I will go. Maybe we just need to call the tower and tell them we need to run before 6 at night when we only get 1 time run at 10 am.

I will donate what I can. Hopefully I am back to work by then. Right now I'm so broke I can't even pay attention.

Sounds like Las Vegas... except you don't get a time run there.

Well that sounds like it worked out for you. October in Oklahoma is usually pleasant except fot the occasional thunderstorm.

That all we got at Valdosta 1 time run been there done that. Time run at 10 am first round at 3 pm. This is difficult racing that is why i use two weather stations and do certain prep on the car. Bagel I know you and you are my friend. Lost my job in march on my birthday. But you can not keep good people down. Can you be the contact to the promoter or track and I can handle the purse. Your racing friend Possum :D

This week I delivered one that was 30 ft in diameter and fully painted. It took 1 hour and 10 mins to pitch.

 If we're gonna have a whole slew of Slanters in St. Louie, I'd better get my butt back out to the shop. Sandy, OKC is a reasonable 8-9 hours from St Louis. Just get on I-44 and get off at Oklahoma City. The Texas bunch usually hits the Monster with a crowd, so if ya need something hauled, just track us down. "Work, work, work, work, work!! Gentlemen, we've gotta protect our phoney-baloney jobs!!!!"
