Is your windshield OK Andrew?

Will they let you run with a crack?

The one in my '66 has had a crack and fogging since I bought it. As long as it is not in the driver's line of vision they usually will not say anything.

I need to change the A/C pulley on my wife's Suburban. The AutoZone box arrived today. And I REALLY need to wash my SRT-4! I may actually try to get around to installing the SEE (Side Exit Exhaust) at some point this winter.

As far as Slant 6 stuff,... daydreaming is about all I can afford right now. I'll start bugging Joel again in about 6 months about the Turismo project. I'll be at the "1 year left" mark then.

Frank and Cinda are gonna have their hands more than full for the foreseeable future, so I don't see the engine/tranny getting swapped into the white Duster anytime soon.

How's about this, "16- Rob- Gearing Up for 2010" :D
Hey Ceej,

I fixed the A/C pulley, washed the SRT-4 (a couple times even! :D ), and will still get around to the SEE... But the real big news is that I just jumped in and ordered a set of K1 rods for a new engine build! Gary Bruner has agreed to build me a race engine for the white Duster. So you can change my "Gearing Up for 2010" to "Building a new race motor" :D

Hi Andrew: Great follow up on your "transformation"..I can'
t believe its the same car that left " wet Chico" back when..Did you ever decide on a name ? Maybe we need to get some of the killer bees to help out with a name..I will start it off

"Andrews' Antic's " or
"Samoa Six"

I think it should be called "Night Sting" if it were to continue life black on the exterior. I want to see what that car will do once the new motor is in there! We wont be wagering in the 18s, 19s and DNFs, but in the 15s or thereabouts I am sure.

Anyways, I finally got around to working on my '74 Sport today, and worked on it for a solid 4 hours, and got alot done.

View pictures here to see the car when I got it, and its progress as of today. Sorry, it's not very organized at the moment... I'll get right on that...

I know a little more about what Andrew is putting into the new motor. I am guessing it will run in the 13's but has the potential to run in the 12's. Now we have:

"Andrews' Antics"
"Samoa Six"
"Night Sting"

Any other suggestions out there???? Come on CJ..I need some help...

How about "Kidd's Stuff"
Hey... that better then the "Redwood Express"
At least with a new engine, we can't call it the "Fog Bank" or "Ol' Smokey" anymore.
How about: Eureka.... the perfect light! - I'm still tring to find it!

My only projects for the car is tuning and trying to get the engine to seal. I think Remflex is going to make me a shareholder in their company after the big check I just sent them this week to seal up the motor,
Also, got some tuning in with the Megasquirt and the current fuel numbers are 23-20-21 MPG with the 45lb injectors, when I was runing the 65lbs I couldn't get better than 18! The top end may have suffered, but I might have to take this racing season off..... :(

hi CJ: I heard through the "grape vine" that there is a 11 second slant6 car being built...It will only weigh 2300 including driver. No, it is not Sergios' project but here in the North State. Funny car tube frame with a 68/69' Dart body. I heard from a very reliable source, that they are finishing up the interior aluminum and it will be "unvailed" in early 2009..Anyone know more about this new project? Sergio? Glen? Edd? Dana? Doc?
Lets add it to the list and maybe call it the "Paradise Passion" #2...All kidding aside, I know this car will be very fast and only the best of the best being put into it. Pace Chassis is doing the fab work and if you have ever seen Edd's work, it is perfection. Can't wait to get the year rolling and see several new faster cars...
A 13 second "170"..I hear it can't be done????

Hey Wayne ,this is all secret. all i know is there is a lot of research and engineering going on. My secret project is a no go,the weight of the cage would make the car 2000 plus without driver. With stock floor and firewall you are legal to 11.50, so not worth the time and expense for a six.It will become a 7.50 certification car some day. My 64 Dart is 2600 with driver and can be 2400 without fiberglass. I will be running a mild engine to start this season, hopefully mid 15s. When the r/d from above said projects is in will probably step up to injected alcohol but maybe not this year.

Well, this sounds intriguing. If it's not Sergio's and it's not mine (I'm a Plymouth guy and not with deep pockets as well)...who can it be?! I'd sure like to hear more about this one as my curiosity is definately piqued! Come on, SOMEBODY's got to fess up about this one?! My little Valiant's NOT going to be happening this year, BUT...the little yella B'cuda just might make it with a docile 225 of some sort, we'll see?!...wb
