Does anyone know of a source for speedo drive pinion gears for the earlier transmissions? The type where the "plug" and gear is attached directly to the cable, not the type where the gear has its own housing, and the cable attaches to it.

There's no source, really—you have to figure out how many teeth you need, then "go fish" (place a "wanted" ad). Once you figure out how many teeth you need, you might want to ask Torqueflite Pat, tflitepatty@verizon.net
