i had to bend my kickdown linkage toward the front of the car a couple of degrees to clear the header. this has seem to effect the way the car shifts and i dont understand why. anyone know?

if you bent the rod you have changed the length of it...readjust it....at wide open throttle the rod should be all the way back against the stop in trans
