Getting the rear prepped for the big swap, and realized I don't have the lower shock mounts from the 8 1/4 rear... they were gone & the rear was already out of the donor car, and the old ones from the 7 1/4 are too narrow.

Will the lower mounts from an F/M/J body car work? New U-bolts are on order, but I'm at a loss for these....

Thanks!

I'm in exactly the same situation.. I haven't done the swap yet, but read in a post that someone just re-drilled the hole in the 7 1/4 shock plate to make it work somehow?? Let me know how it turns out. Also let me know how much you had to have the drive shaft shortened.
Good luck!!

F-body mounts are designed to go around the springs, they are not just a bottom plate that holds the spring against the perch.

I know this is an old thread, but the latest issue of hihg preformance Mopar has an add in it for all kinds of suspension repro parts in it that include the shock plates, and mounts for the 8 1/4" rear.
