I did a complete search on this question and didn't come up with a definite answer. Can anyone answer this?

Which side does the water pump hose go to the heater core?

If you have the answer can you explain it like this.

When standing in front of the car the water pump goes to the passenger side or the drivers side of the heater core.

Thanks JZ

Differs by model, year and with/without factory A/C. WHat are you working on?

Or, like on my '74 Dart Sport, it is self-evident....
One is 1/2" and the other is 5/8".

Not sure what year the block is,but I believe it to be a early block & head if that helps.

It dosen't matter which way the hoses go.

In a '63-up A-body, no, it doesn't matter as far as heating capacity is concerned. But getting the hoses swapped frequently causes annoying noises in the heater system. There's a '66 TSB on the subject, with the same "how to hook up the hoses" diagram that's in the FSM, but it's at my office and right now I'm not.

JZ-

I'll dig for the TSB, but...

...butbut...

...couldn't you just look in your FSM?

(Did I catch you workin' on your car without the FSM???)
