My '68 Dart has 13" rims. My local Merchants tire store has only one
tire, a P175-80-R13. These tires are fine for now as they replace the
dry rotted P185-80-R13 tires which cannot be found now.

Anyone know of a 14" or 15" steel rim with the 13" bolt pattern?
Or....what is the best solution to getting wider tires on my '68 /6
Dart?

What you need are the later 14" x5.5 rims............ on small bolt pattern...

As for finding them, there's junk yards, or do what I did and post the same question to various email groups, forums, etc..... and eventually someone pops up that converted their car to the the Large Bolt Pattern for the disk brakes, and just has them lying around...........

Then you make a deal and get them cheap.....

The ralley type wheels do show up in the small bolt pattern on ebay, summit, and various other places if you like those......

BTW, there's 14"x4.5" rims out there....... they won't do you much good.

They're out there, just look, at least in CA they exist.....

Also I'm running with the 14x5.5 rims and 195/70 14 tires now.... much better

Kumho, Goodyear, Kelly-Springfield, Cooper and others make the correct P185/80R13 tire size.

Your bolt pattern is "Five on four" (five lugs, 4" diameter bolt circle). The factory provided 14 x 4-1/2" and 14 x 5-1/2" plain steel wheels with the 5-on-4" pattern starting in 1965 and ending in 1974. They also provided the fancy "Rallye" wheel in 14 x 6" starting in 1967 and ending in 1972. The 14 x 5-1/2" plain steel wheels are hard to find, but the Rallyes are being reproduced in original argent or non-original Chrome by Wheel Vintiques (download the "steel wheels" PDF to see 'em -- various vendors carry them). Then there are the period-correct Cragar SS mags such as I have on my '62 Lancer (with P205/70R14 tires):
