Does any one out there in /6 land have an early model distributor clamp plate that, A: they can sell, or B:can trace on a piece of paper so I can make one, or C: can send me so I can measure it up, copy it and then return yours?

This is the style clamp plate that has a large center hole for the distributor shaft to fit through and has two slots on either end of the clamp for the screws that hold it to the distributor and to the engine block

I can't find one at any of the local junk yards.

I need one to adapt my Unilite distributor to my 85 /6

Any help would be most appreciated

Thanks.....Jim

Won't the hold down from your '85 fit? Those later ones will give you more adjustment range.

Also note your '85 block has a bigger hold down bolt thread in the block than the blocks for the plate you are looking for. I don't remember the size, but it's the next bolt size fatter.

On my 82 D150, I just swapped out the old hold down on the electronic dist. with my leanburn dist hold down. Works great!
