Where is the trimmer on this AM radio and how can I adjust it? My AM reception has always been weak and I was thinking about that while I had it out to replace my wiper shaft seals.

I dont believe those work on AM, but Id rather get what I have working its best rather than cover up the problem with something that doesnt belong there.

They work with any signal received to your radio by antenna, I got one installed in my car, and never got weak signal when I decide to listen to radio.

Anyone got a factory manual they can scan for info on the trimmer pot? Thanks for the booster suggestion, but Id really rather fix the problem properly.

Don't know if this helps you any but on the ancient AM/FM radio in my 66 C-10 the antenna trimmer is located on the backside of the radio. I can lay on the floor board and tunr the trimmer with my fingernail. I don't know if you can get to it that easy in cramped A-body however.
