Does anyone know where I can get one of these for a '73 master cylinder?
The mopar part # is 2074960.

I can't get it at the dealership. I even called Koller and they don't have it.

Thanks :)

Are you talking about the small circular piece of rubber that holds the rod to the inside of the master cylinder so the rod can't fall out of the MC ?

Sorry don't have parts book availible to look up part#

These aren't availible anymore dealer, but one of the aftermarket brake places was selling them for like $3 a piece. I also heard of people using vaccum hose to do the job as well. Can't remember which off the top of my head, try either Stainless Steel brakes or MP brakes.

magnumhp.com has 'em for $3 each. I ordered a few spares on my last transaction with them.

If you purchased a new/rebuilt master cylinder, that parts is supposed to come with it. If not, take it back and get one that has the part in the box. They somehow get lost during handling/shipping.

Yep, worked good! Got 'em yesterday.

Measurements are 1/4" inside diameter, a shave under 1/2" (.475") outside diameter, 1/4" long. Has a slit running lengthwise. Fairly hard rubber, or maybe plastic...

Thanks again!
