hello.. just a question about spark plug failure. i replaced mine a few months ago, and then #6 is dead, REALLY dead. i replaced wires, filed, and regapped, and still nothing. i happened to have the old set put away, and put in one of the old ones, and it runs fine. im curious as to what kind of failure this was?

Meaby the cables are too thin or are of very poor quality, get some accel or moroso 9mm cables

well, i mean the new plug itself was dead, even after filing and regapping. putting in an old plug, made it fire evenly, and smooth.

The only thing I can think of is that the porcelain cracked and there's an internal short to ground.........

Sounds like a "Champion" plug. :? I have had that problem a few times over the years, with Champions.
