I know that some of you out there have the Cragar SS s' with the small bolt pattern 7/16 X 20.....
I have looked and called around and have been having no luck locating a locking lug nut that will fit this application.
I don't feel safe taking my car on overnighter trips. Brand new Cragars without protection could leave me walking.
I did save my ugly, rusty steelies for just such an eventuality. But I would rather not have to resort to that some day..;.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

Then after they're stolen, they find out the wheels are worthless because they don't fit anything but A-bodies...............

Maybe you can cover them with perm-a-spinning hubcaps, rug dash cover (long hair rug is a must) and undercar lights.

Give these guys a try. http://www.gorilla-auto.com/products/?s ... &sfID2=252 They may be available at your local Kragens or other parts stores. I've had good luck with their products.

Well....I was trying to quote DW but I am still a rook to posting on boards!

LOL How True. That's an angle Ididn't even consider. Just about everyone who is old enough to like Cragar SSs' is probably also not interested in going to jail ........again.

Also. Thanks to the rest of the suggestions here too.
I will go to the website recommended.

If anyone has the same problem that I do . Here is how I am going to remedy the situation. Order the standard mag locking lugnut. It is slightly different in size. You will have to either have to have one of the holes on your mag to acceept the larger lugnut ....or have your new locking nut machined down to fin inside of your cragar....A person really shouldn't have to bother doing all that but appearently Cragar just couldnt be bothered with making a proper one for thier own wheels. As usual mopar owners get very little respect!! Oh yea...and .....Cragar you make nice retro wheels, but when it comes to following through with locks that fit your own wheels............Well you just suck! ./....Please feel free to email me before I let Golden Palace tatoo that on my bald head ....JK
