I just reserved a room for the banquet. Got SSRN #39 today and was slightly disappointed that I was 11th place in the points, but I'm getting better!

See y'all there,

Lou

I went through the entire newsletter and it has the 20th and 21st dates as well. You may be thinking of last year when it was a week later. Call the reservation line and tell them you are with the slant six crowd and they will put you on the correct weekend.

Dates above are correct!

Tom

Does anyone know if Seymour is planning on attending? I assume he is, but I'm not sure...

I just got #39(and 24 that I was missing). I had asked Seymour if he still had any of those parts he had advertised a couple issues back. As usual, Charrlie scarfed things up pretty quickly :( , but Seymour did still have the Ladder Bars that I want to try on the Turismo. I'm hoping maybe I can work it out for him to bring them to the banquet and ask one of the "Dalton Gang" guys to get them over to Joel. I'll pay for gas money.

I sign out on my 30 days leave in the morning and will be gone for about a week before I'm back at "home". I'll check back in then.

Enjoy the banquet everyone!

Rob,

If Seymour isn't there, we'll know the universe is about to end! Should be able to make drops like that, and there will be lots of swapping going on!

Last time I went, I sold a 63 Dart 2dr to Charles Myers and dropped off a head to Mike Jeffrey for porting/rebuilding!

Lou

Thanks guys, I'm about to call Seymour now.

Yeah Lou, you and I were roomies that time weren't we? It was the brown Dart, right?

There was some serious bench racing going on that time. I wish I could make it this time.

Ron Parker said he would help me out with getting the Ladder Bars to Joel. You just gotta love these guys in the Slanted Family.

There hasn't been a lot of talk about rules and ideas and such for the banquest yet this year... What's up? It looks like the Series Points races will be changing around a bit.

I'd rather not make such a long drive alone. If anyone remotely close to Pittsburgh is making the trip, I'd like to meet up and split gas or make some type of arrangement that saves me some hours behind the wheel.

There's nothing worse than getting there and being too tired to enjoy the group. Hope to make the trip either way, so send me a PM with a phone number if anybody wants to chat about details.

I've been away from my computer for weeks at a time with new job responsibilities. Please be patient.
