Did you check all 6 rod bearings, or just a few?
I've had cam bearings go bad in 2 motors, never heard any knocking. One motors bearings were almost non-existent, other motor only had 34 passes on in when I noticed the oil pressure had dropped 10 lbs. Since then, instead of relying on a shop, I bought a cam bearing installation tool to do my own.

I checked all the rod and main bearings, they were both perfect.

The oil for the head comes up through the holes in the rearmost cam
bearing. So for the head to have oil this bearing has oil.

If the rearmost bearing is chewed up the same as all the forward ones
I believe the problem is not oil delivery.

Did you find any silicon gasket goo blobs in the oil you drained?
Those can block off oil ports and screw up bearings, probably not
this case though since the rods and mains are okay.

I did not see any chunks of silicone or anything in the oil I drained. However, the front and rear cam bearing were not as mangled as the inner two. I guess something must have clogged an oil passage, if the bearings were installed wrong I wouldn't have been getting oil to the head and the bearings would have crapped out right away.
