Booked my trip tonight. Flying in Wednesday, staying at the Super 8 by the track. Gonna get in a poker game at the Bellagio Wednesday, got a Harley reserved for Thursday. Planning on thrashing the rental car again this year, got a 300 this time. :shock:

Im trying to get there. It all depends on how many days I can get away from the business......and what shape the Valaint is in. I havn t even had a chance to change the oil since before Christmas as it does a 50 mile commute everyday. Weather is also a factor .....it takes 24 hours driving time to get there from here....and March can be a tough weather month. The trip has to be done without snow tires.
I could come down in my GFs Eagle TSI AWD....but thats not the same.

I wanna!

I bet it would be a great time...I havn t been to Vegas since ...october! Id love to see what the Valaint would turn in the 1/4.....and to see if I can still do 1000 miles/day in a noisy car....with summer tires .....in March.

I hope somebody there likes a pint or 2 of ale.....mouthin off in the bar....smokeshows in the parkin lot......you know.....Raisin L.

I bet my hair is longer than Dennis' shirt is loud...

I bet Icanduck fasternyoocanswing........

My poor ole racing buddy is going to have to do some sacrifices like
Spend a week in La Vegas Rent a Harley Get in a poker shootout and race a Chrysler 300 he doint have to worry about breaking. Such sacrifices. Hey Bagel ole buddy you need a crew chief and beverage man if so i'm your man. Will work cheap Your racing friend Possum :D

Looks like I will now be there Friday morn....my trip now has an added Phoenix component.....and I can t leave LA until 6pm thur...with a stop in Pahrump early Friday. Hey isn t that NEXT friday? I think I may have to get busy......

If I have to do Phoenix it means truck and trailer...Im trying to figure how to trailer the Valaint along with the load....
