Need some help from racers burning alcohol in their engines. What kind of plugs and what heat range is the best to use. Also what kind of timing do most of you run. I am presently on 28 degrees and was told I need to drop it to 23. Anyone with suggestions?

Norm wich heads are you using? I run 30 degrees and no advance. But when I sprayed it retarded the timing.

I am using a stock head that has been polished and ported with chevy valves. If this helps.

I think Will wants to know what year your head is - whether it uses the later peanut plugs or the early (74-down) big plugs.
