My 73 Swinger project car had AC, but was removed (including the brackets) prior to me acquiring the car. Since it can get up to 115 degrees in the summer here (usually only about 105 though), I think AC would be nice.

I saw a 77 Volare with AC at the boneyard today. the part number is 3846330, SN 3592265. Will this fit the Swinger? If it doesn't, are the brackets the same? I have no parts on my car to compare it to.

There is no part number for "the A/C". What part are you talking about here? The compressor? If so, then yes, the compressor + bracket on a '77 Volare will work on your '73 Dart.
