Nice. I think those slotted wheels will look just right.

Very nice. Your '87 has some features I wish my '89 had: A slant-6 engine (I have the 318), wiper control on the dash (mine are on the turn signal stalk), exterior front sunshade. 'Course, I also wish someone would come along and pay me a lot money for my '89. I don't have any real need for a pickup truck!

Yes,both the slant 6 and the dash mounted wipers take some getting used to. Before this I used to have a few beater 80's el caminos, and those had v8's and wipers on the turn signal stalk.

I kind of wish it didn't have the outside visor, whoever installed it put it on so that it pointed down, and to fix it I had to drill a few more holes for it.

There's a newer pic of it,I got the rims for free from my boss and figured they give the truck a more aggressive look than the stock hubcaps. I also got some new 235/75's for it,but they aren't pictured.

Also have a pair of nice doors with different mirrors,as well as a replacement left front fender, which will all be installed whenever I have ample time.

Dan, what is wrong with the 318? I wish I had a V-8 in my truck. Wanna trade your engine for my engine?

A little update,I will be doing the hei conversion in a week or two, hopefully that will make it a little more enjoyable to drive. I'm also working on prepping the "new" left front fender and door,to make the truck look a little better on the driver's side.
