I know this may sound strange, but here goes... It's been a long, long time since I messed with this tranny and I forget where the gears are when I shift at the tranny? I thought all the way to the rear was Park, but I am not sure now? Later, D |

The gears are always inside the transmission case. Unless something breaks really, really badly. It's been a long, long time since I messed with this tranny and I forget where the gears are when I shift at the tranny? Quote:

Are you talking about the position of the lever that sticks out of the transmission case, or something else?

So that's where all them round bumpy things go!! Thanks!! Yes, I was refering to the position of the shift lever. I know that it is fully to the rear in park now. I climbed under and started shifting it and checking the driveline. Park - to the rear! Thanks, D Now I need another shift cable - the one I have turned out to have the top inch or so bent and it justs bends inside the shifter housing and doesn't move the shift lever back into park. |
