about 3 weeks ago I replaced the front shocks on my 64 valiant. It had an old set of Monroes in it. after removing the monroes I noticed they still had a bit of life left in 'em. despite being pretty dang old and rusted. I installed KYB gas-a-just shocks and noticed no real difference in ride quality, cornering. Nose dive during braking was dramatically reduced however.
The rear shocks were on back order and took three weeks to get which brings us to today. the monroes in the rear had absolutely no life left in em. and with the new kyb's. WOW. all the clunks and bumps, and road noise instantly vanished. ride quality was like that of a new car. haven't done any heavy cornering yet to tell a difference there. (want to rebuild the front end before I do to much of that)
I had to do the same thing on my 89' aerostar (for different reasons) and noticed the same results (less pronounced however)

Cool! :D

It's always good when a modification actually works.

Good shocks and suspension are my absolute favorite upgrades for any car.

Man it really tightened up the steering. I guess the rear aint swaying side to side anymore keeping the wheel straight. But any time I get under this car I see something else I gotta change. front and rear seals on the rear end need to be changed and replacing those old rusted steel brake lines is a must.
