Hi folks,

Finally got the air out of my braking system (9" drums x4, '68 Dart 270).

Now I have an intermittent problem... sometimes the brake pedal will slowly descend to the floor while sitting at a stoplight.

I just put a refurbished :( master cylinder on it a few months ago. But IIRC this is a symptom of a bad master... am I right? There is no leakage of fluid in the system.

This one came from Napa, but I don't remember who remanufactured it.

His '68 Dart already has a twin-pot master cylinder. Also, twin-pot master cylinders are prone to problems, just like single-pot master cylinders.

Not true. If the original annodizing is gone they can corrode and fail quickly. Also many people have had spongy pedal problems with the AL master. Once I get my Swinger back on the road I hope I'm not one of them.
