Has anyone ever set up a rear end (8.25 in my case)

and had the backlash settings work their way loose??

Is this rare?

maybe the bearing caps were not tight enough?

Actually I just recently had this problem not a week ago on my 7.25. I
believe the bearing caps are the culprit..Either ways I get to tear into it again! :x

Dont ya just love the smell of 90w gear oil?

Well I got it fixed.

It was some thing with the pinion.

The Diff. carrier adjusters were fine.

I bought new pinion bearings and crush collar and reset it.
