I was just wondering if anyone had a update on the slant six race in Pittsburgh. I was hoping to bring the dart out, but that wasn't possible again this year. If anyone has an update on who won/fastest time ect. I would appreciate it, we were really hoping to make it out and see some of the other street cars run, greg/lou how did your cars run?? any others???
Thanks,
Ryan

Talked with Kay Hamby last night at about 10:00 O Clock and the race was just being completed with Ron Hamby as the winner over Romeo and thay had 12 cars there. Did not find out any other results.

My brother in law Dan got third place in Paul's 20.5 second Scamp I guess Charlie got fourth. he is seriously talking about putting a slant in his 69 Valiant now. I think we may have a convert.

My car did well, I clicked off my fastest time of 15.06 in the first round of elim's with a 60' time of 1.997.

Then I was knocked out in the second round by Dan.

The slowest time was my first run on friday of 15.59.

Nothing blew up or exploded. which was great.

It was a lot of fun, and some real close races.

Dan and Mr. Hamby ran in the semi's and dan put on a red bulb.
Romeo had a bye in the Semi's when he ran a 13.80 on a 13.80 dial.

Then Romeo really slowed down in the finals, and ron took the win.
