I was just wondering if anyone had a update on the slant six race in Pittsburgh. I was hoping to bring the dart out, but that wasn't possible again this year. If anyone has an update on who won/fastest time ect. I would appreciate it, we were really hoping to make it out and see some of the other street cars run, greg/lou how did your cars run?? any others??? Thanks, Ryan |

Talked with Kay Hamby last night at about 10:00 O Clock and the race was just being completed with Ron Hamby as the winner over Romeo and thay had 12 cars there. Did not find out any other results. |

My brother in law Dan got third place in Paul's 20.5 second Scamp I guess Charlie got fourth. he is seriously talking about putting a slant in his 69 Valiant now. I think we may have a convert. |

My car did well, I clicked off my fastest time of 15.06 in the first round of elim's with a 60' time of 1.997. Then I was knocked out in the second round by Dan. The slowest time was my first run on friday of 15.59. Nothing blew up or exploded. which was great. It was a lot of fun, and some real close races. Dan and Mr. Hamby ran in the semi's and dan put on a red bulb. Romeo had a bye in the Semi's when he ran a 13.80 on a 13.80 dial. Then Romeo really slowed down in the finals, and ron took the win.
