| Post subject: | Thrust washer placement in A-904? |
I took my small block A-904 apart and I am having trouble getting the thing put back together on spec. The ATSG manual I have only talks about the A904T and the A999 which only had the wide-range planetary gear sets. Mine has the standard planetary gears and has a different placement for the thrust washers surrounding the driving shell. The wide range planetaries have two more thrust washers located opposite ends of the planetaries. Any help would be appreiated! bwhitejr |
