Stryker I can't believe you've never made Monster Mopar. I like it better than the Nats. My thinking is it doesn't get much of the "casual crowd" that the Nats do, they're more hardcore Mopar folks, the racing is better, and the swap meet doesn't have a lots of "frill" vendors, just parts and more parts. Come find the Texas flags in the Super Stock pits and hang out! RICK

That does it, I'm going. Few questoins though. Is there a schedule for the weekend posted somewhere? I looked at the Gateway website and could find anything details beyond the fact that it is that weekend. Also, when is/was the deadline to register for the race? I've never actually competed, but if I iron out my carb problems this weekend (crosses fingers), I think I'd like to take a shot at it.

All the information available is posted at the link listed by slantzilla. I will be making the twenty minute treck over in my challenger hopefully. Maybe by next year I will have some things tidied up enough to enter into the slant six race, curious to see if I can break below 20's with a 225 e-body and a super six.

Lots of local swap guys show up usually with some good parts and manuals available. There are also tons of racers, I can't remember how many slanters showed up last year but it seems to me it was double digits.
