You should send those pictures to Doug so he can put them in the racers gallery.

Cool looking cars though. Which car belongs to what person?

Seyomour will be doing a complete writeup on the Redding races along with a story on the 1934 Coupe. If you are not members of the slant6 racing association, send $10.00 to Slant Six Racing News, 2513 Princeton Court, St. Louis Park, MN 55416.

Thanks again Ron for your financial support of our West Coast racing program. We hope to get others involved financially so we can get a good $$ purse which will all go (100%) to the racers . We need to keep our West Coast races growing in numbers as you can see by the photos. Thanks for all the positive comments...

I would like to extend my thanks to Wayne for getting us organized. Also, since my car had not been running very long, and I was trying to dial it in, I would like to thank all you that were helping me adjust, diagnose the car. Especially Doug, and of course Mike. On Sunday, the bolt for my distributor adjustment had snapped, and he wouldn't give up trying to extract it even though I had. He got it out and I continued to race. The slant six crowd is a great bunch of people.

All you West Coast "bench racers" are really missing out not coming to the Redding slant6 events (twice a year) Of the 14 cars, there were 7 first time "racers" and all will be back again. Where can you race for $10.00 and have your own shaded pit area, own slant6 lanes and lots of "free" slant6 expertise available to help your fine tune your car??
We even provide all the liquid refreshment...We need to continue to grow and hopefully have a full 16++ car field at the next event. We will get you the dates early so you will not have ANY EXCUSES not to show up. These first time racers are figuring out the lights, dial ins, and giving us more long time racers plenty of competition. Trophies for first four..yes four places and in addition to the first 8...yes first eight (8) finishers, there will be $$$.We continue to hear about all these "almost finished" rides so any chance you guys could get off your **** and finish up your projects over the winter and help add to our efforts at making Redding the West Coast "Clay City" race, a reality. Doug and I would like to hear from any of you about your car "projects" and new acquistions. We welcome all slant6 cars..stock , modified, or come and watch us grow at Redding. Later from Chico, Wayne /Aric/Glenn/ Mike et al
