After repainting the motor, The 225 slant six from a 73 dart cranks over, but won't fire. Before this paint project i never had any problems. During painting the spark plug wires were removed and numbered and the voltage regulator was also removed and reinstalled. I don't think I am getting any spark, but I am unsure as to how to check this to confirm it. thanks.

Pull any plug wire off and put a spare spark plug in it, if you got one laying around or pull one out if you dont, and lay the plug somewhere on the engine where it will be grounded and crank the engine over. Look for spark.
