I am working on getting dates for the Bristol re-schedule. As soon as I have available dates I will make them available for discussion.

I wanted to re-schedule for the same day as Piedmont to make it easier for everyone towing but there are some people that want the event back at Bristol so here we go!

I had ask about re-shceduling and Bristol was willing to do that on one of they normal race nights. I will get a list of their dates and post them here for everyone to vote on which date works best.

Stay tuned and save some gas money!
 Its not over yet!

Tom

Sounds great to me, especially a night race. I might even be able to bring two cars if I can find another driver!!

I've got three spare street cars and three uncles that race so I might just have to call in a favor.

Let me play devils advocate, here. It doesn't matter to me, but I thought this (rainout) situation was discused. And it was put in the rules, that rainouts would not be reschuled, and points would not be awarded. Now of course if Bristol is reschuled for Piedmont, I'm totally in favor of it, since I was unable to make Bristol :D

No the rules specifically state that rain-outs can be re-scheduled.

Seymour said that two of the racers at Bristol were against running it at Piedmont.(did not say who and does not matter) He also stated that only the racers that were originally at Bristol would be allowed in the re-schedule had it occured at Piedmont. Anyone would be welcomed back at Bristol. ??? Not really sure why it would work that way. Anyone should be allowed to run the re-schedule no matter where it occurs. Since 95% of the racers at Bristol plan to attend to Piedmont I thought this would have been eaiser on all concerned and cost them less money. (one entry - two races one tow)

The only reason I am willing to pursue this is because #3 and #4 in points have 2 races left to count and speciafically waited until Bristol and Piedmont to count them(Hamby and Parker)....I am just trying to give them a fair shot at it. Piedmont could be a 50 pt race which would give Norm a shot at an additional 10 pts that he would not have gotten at Bristol. SOOOO it could get real interesting.

Piedmont was willing to run two races for us on Saturday.

I stand corrected. Thanks. I wasn't sure about that, but remember it being discussed.

That is what I was referring to. But I couldn't remember, how it was decided.
