BWD have changed hands (corporate owners) several times over the last several years. They were owned by BorgWarner, then they were owned by Echlin, and now that Echlin are owned by Standard, who the heck knows about BWD? As far as I remember, BWD's line consists of their ordinary parts and "BWD Select" premium parts. I haven't taken a close look at their stuff lately to be able to make good or bad comments on quality/durability. It'd be interesting to look at their slant-6 distributor cap and see if it has the same off-centre problem as the Echlin caps.
