Can I do a direct 225 swap with my 198 rods and pistons? Or will the pistons be too high?

198 rod is 7.006"
225 rod is 6.699"

Piston is the same on all slant-6s.

Use a stock piston with a 198 rod on a 225 crank and the piston will run into the cylinder head. You have to use a piston with a higher pin bore to run 198 rods on a 225 crank.

You can use the 225 crank and rods and make a 225.

To use 198 rods you need 2.2, VW, or custom pistons. :D
