My new Bosch alternator arrived today. Unfortunately, it came with a serpentine belt pulley. I managed to remove the pulley, and also dropped it on my garage floor in the process. But then I found that there is no way I could possibly put the pulley from the stock alternator on there.

Looks like I'll have to go junkyard hunting again, unless there's a good source for V-belt pulleys for these alternators.

I had the Bosch on my 89 Diplomat and it had V belts. Same with my 88 D 100. Once I had the one on the Dip go bad I went and got one from a FWD car and it was an easy deal to swap pulleys.

Interesting. I'll be sure to look at FWD Mopars next time I'm junkyard hunting.
