I have read in past posts about using a slant six pushrod, to make a "unified" choke set-up.(For a 2X1 intake.) SSDan, I read in several places were you said it was possible to do a 1920 this way? What would be involved in doing this? (I did use the "Search" feature, but could never find a detailed post about how this was done.)
Thanks,
BBBanjo

Funny you should ask. I was looking at the 2X1 mainfold sometime back and saved that info. You'll find it here: http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=77236

Growing older is unavoidable but growing up is strictly optional.

The pushrod trick is contingent on using carburetors without linkage or vent parts in the way of the projected axis of the choke rod and air cleaners that also don't impinge on the pushrod area. I think the better and easier way of doing it is described and pictured here.
