Just wanted to give a shout out to mark your Calander for the May 5th inliners race in Redding California, never been there, looking forward to going this year.

Hi Romeo: You made my day hearing that you will be at the Redding May 5th slant6 race. Your car has been featured in many magazines with your EFI setup. Have to see it in person...Talked later today with Dave Mueller and he says he too will be there. Has the new motor almost finished in his 69 ' Signet. Oscar Steelman also called and he will be there to "defend" his last win over all comers at the last 2006. Now we need just a couple more "newbies" to commit to coming to Redding on MAY 5th. COME ON SACTO/SF AREA SLANT6 CARS...We are now approaching the LARGEST TURNOUT OF SLANT6 CARS EVER.. Would like to hear from those of you that are on-the- fence- and move to the WE WILL BE THERE SIDE... We have cars coming from Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Eureka and Central/Southern Calif. I spoke with DD and I will be there too. I won't have my slant car but I will have my LA engine 64 Valiant . I promise to have the supercharged slant next year .

I talked with Mike yesterday and is planning to bring his new "ride" to Vegas. The dyno test were "positive" and hopefully the weather will cooperate also. If you received your "packets" with wrist bands, you will note that the track will be open for early arrivals on Thursday morning. Rick always gets there early and "ropes" off a area for all of us.
