I have 2 different mopar purple shafts that I could choose from #4286678 and# 4286681. Which one would work for me better in a street/bracket racer application? I intend on decking the block and head cleaning up the ports (I can't believe all the flashing the left in the head getting rid of the has to help)
1.7/1.44 valves 4 barrel, headers.

Now on to valves I intend on installing 1.7 and1.44 valves. But what should I use for springs. Any idea were I could get the best deal on the whole set up valves guides seals springs and retainers. I see a guy that advertises on ebay and I've looked at SI 'S web site just not sure the best route to go. I will have this head ready for the machine shop shortly and would like to get the valve componets ordered.

Awhile back I remember seeing a cam comparision chart on here that should specs for alot of different cams could someone repost it or tell me how to find it. Thanks

i would go with the 276/.490lift cam,the stock retainer are fine but use harden locks and teflon oil seals ,there a lot better than umbrela seals, valve spring should be single with dampers like stock 340s, mopars#p4120249, i hope your going to plane the head while if off, 9/1 compression is nice for the street, just do the math before milling the head
