I had the 1945 on my engine originally until Doctor Dodge suggested that I get a good 1920. Boy was he right!

The throttle linkage on mine was cable type on both carbs so tranny and throttle are fine, no changes. The gas line exits out 90 degrees to the right from the 1945 and the automatic choke arm had to be shortened. I just made an offset bend and it worked great all winter. :D :D :D

You should have no troubles. Changing jets is no problem, just 4 bolts and your there.......tuning the power valve is a real blessing, much, much easier.....and you can get dead on!
