Will the torque convertor from a 64 v-8 904 swap into a 64 slant six 904? They are both pushbutton transmissions. Thanks for any info!

Yes, the converters are the same and will swap over but the books show the V8 unit as having more stall speed.

I have swapped the factory V8 converters into SL6 applications, hoping I could get more stall speed, never noticed any increase. I think the higher stall rating was based on the converter being used behind a more powerful engine.

Confirmed. Same P/N for torque converter used in A904 transmissions behind 170, 225, and 273 in '64, '65, '66 and '67. Didn't check later years 'cause we're not talking about later years.
