I re-installed the carb this week. I have the dart apart getting ready for paint and I've decided to freshen up the engine during painting. I have a 2 bbl. intake and carb and will go with that for now. I have a great fuel rail with injectors and bushings for intake as well as a new MSD fuel pump if anyone is interested? I can send pics. It held up great with no leaks during all my tests. Thanks for all the past help. You guys are great and this is a great site! Greg 8)

It didn't take long for me to give up on the gm comp either. Don't get rid of your stuff just yet wait till the bug bites you again then get a megasquirt.

I agree with Pierre. Don't get rid of your hardware. I don;t think I would go back to Carbs again, ever. It took me awhile to get things right, and there is still room for improvement. I am expecting better performance yet, and better economy, perhaps, as well. My last 100 mile road trip yielded 27 MPG, without being too gentle on the trottle. That included one four mile test drive with Dart270 last week, and one day of driving four miles to work and back.

I think I will hold on to my stuff. I put a lot of work in the fuel rail. I am going to pull the engine and freshen it up while the Darts in the shop getting primped up! Thanks for all the advice. I will call on you guy's again when I get the engine done. Greg

If you send me your e-mail I can send you a photo or two. But it is hard to even see the slant under all the inter-cooler piping. Be sure to reference the slant efi in the topic, as I get alot of spam, and never open anything that is not recognizable.
