I have a 64 225 /6 what color should it be I think it's red. If anyone has a picture of one thats red please post it if you can.

Yep, red is correct. See this post for slant-6 engine colour chronology. The red you're after is well matched by International-Harvester Red farm equipment spray paint, which you should be able to find at NAPA. Last time I checked, they were carrying a very good brand of paint (Martin-Senour), and the P/N for the IH red is 79021 or 6017 (or whatever they've changed the number to this month :shrug: ). If that doesn't pan out, you can get equally good quality from Plasti-Kote (#1359), Dem-Kote (#1D486), or, of course, from a Case-IH dealer. If you strike out locally, you can order from Grainger.

Dupli-color, Chrysler red, at most auto parts stores.

"Chrysler Red" is a match for the red used on V8s. Not the same as \6 red.

Funny...it was an exact match for what I think is the original paint on my '64 Valiant.
