Do '72 8 3/4 Imperial have 4 1/2" bolt circles. I think some of the older Imps had 5". I want to find an axle set that I can have resplined for my A-body '71 Dart. These Imperial axles are 29" long and are tapered. I searched for information on the Moser services, are these axles OK to use?

I pulled 3 sets of 8 3/4 axles from trucks and a van. They're all the same as the '72 Imperial, the trucks are 1/2" or so longer, the truck axle had yellow paint on them. They are necked down, but I think there is plenty of material
for resplining by Moser.

"Green" bearings are just ball bearings, right ? What is the advantage vs the needle bearings ?
