I recently found a donor car for my smashed rear window and the car has front disc brakes. It's a '73 4-door and mine's a '70 4-door. I've already had my front end apart before, so that bit's a no-brainer, but I wonder what parts I ought to grab while I'm under there (I'm going to nab the UCAs, LCAs, Spindles, calipers, MC). Are there any parts I'm overlooking? I'm thinking about nabbing the engine and trans for a future rebuild, but we'll see what he wants for them first. Also, any problems you fellows can see with this swap? It should be a straight replacement, right? Thanks in advance, Nat |

Yep, you want the rear end also, since it will have the large bolt pattern that the discs have (you may get lucky and see if it's a 8 1/4" too...)...You may also want to grab the wheels temporarily until you find an LBP set you really like... -D.Idiot |

Don't forget the drive shaft if you're changing the rear end. |

Also, you can use the '70 LCAs; it's just the UCAs that are different. Unless you want to run a whole '73 K-member setup. |

Thanks fellas. I'm going to scope it all out this weekend. I may just buy the whole car for the amount of stuff I want off it. Thanks again, Nat |
