Howdy everybody

I recently had fuel problems in my 72 demon, possibly because of a dirty tank. I took everything apart and cleaned and blew out, etc. only to find that the fuel pump was bad- it only blew, not sucked!

Now that I'm back together with a full tank I have a drip from my sender unit gasket. I can't find anywhere that sells a new one, and Im afraid to make one from rubber that might melt in the crappy caustic gas they sell now.

Who sells the gasket? I also need a new float (my plastic one was cracked at the seam) and sock (same thing).

Thanks

Kevin

Yearone has the gasket and float. I think the float was availible at ford dealer, don't have the # off hand but you should be able to search for it.

Try www.jacksautoparts.com too

You know Dan has that copied ready to paste at a moments notice ;)

Thats for the 5/16" strainer right?

One time I was in a rush for one and couldn't find one locally - the local auto parts stores stock ones for modern cars that are soft instead of rigid. I know the parts store guys and we opened a few boxes until we found one that fit snug over my senders tube. Its held up fine.
