Today I changed fluid on 82 Dodge D150 pickup. Has what I believe is the 904. At the bottom of pan there were some metal shavings. They were very small, and never got collected by the magnet. Is that a normal thing, or is that an indication that it is eating itself up?. Thats the first time the pan has been dropped in 45000 some odd miles. Went with new filter and Amalie fluid as replacement, after washing everything squeeky clean with brake cleaner. Any thoughts or opinions appreciated.
