slantsix.com recommended me to come here with my questions.

I got a free offy 4 brl intake so I decided to look into making a faster /6,so,here it goes

450cfm Holley
offy 4brl intake
header (but what kind will fit with the offy)
camshalf(look for something in the .460-.480 lift range?)
exhaust 2 1/4 with Borla muffler
headwork???? whats it gonna take to make this a nice runner?

car= 65 cuda 4 speed 225ci, gear ratio unknown at this time, but WILL be changed if neccessary.

Also, I need to know if anyone has a guideline that goes something like

"this combo makes 200hp"
"this combo makes 250hp"
"this combo makes 300hp"

Is there a website or anyone have a /6 dynoed that ended up dynoing at such an such hp/tq? Im looking to know combos that are making 250hp -300hp aprox. I just want to know what it would take. that kind of hp behind a lil 65 baccaruda would still be fun. Any help would greatly be appreciated

I'm running (in my 67 dart gt)a Mopar '528 lift cam, a 600 holley,Offenhauser intake, double race springs, aluminum retainers, Mopar header, oil pump etc. with twin 3 inch exhaust and Dynomax race mufflers. This combo is undynoed but I can't rave enough about it. It pulls from idle with a good converter. The power is good below 3000 rpm but it really picks up after that. It is also a crowd pleaser at cruise night, it does sound tough.

Just a few normal questions, have you ever raced it down the track?e.t.? What compression are you running, anything trick to the lower end. Last but not least, any head work? Clint

I have yet to race it on a track. AS far as compression I'm running around 9:25 to 1 roughly.
As far as the bottom end it's stock. I checked it out and it was good( the motor had only 50,000 miles) For the head, just milled it 60 thou and of course had to have the guides taken down to fit the springs and new vavles put in.
