My 63 Dart has sprung a tiny leak in the heater core and I would like to replace it before the winter hits full force but the earliest core I can find new is for a 65 Dart.My question is whether the the two would interchange or is there aqnother core that will fit,....or does someone offer a replacement for the 63.
Also, this is a non a/c car and I realize that there are number of one year only parts on this car being the first year of this body style.
Thanks in advance for any help

These should interchange with no problem. I just put a new core (65 spec.) into my 63 Valiant and it fit well. I've even put mid 70s A-body cores into these cars with good results.

'63-'69 A-bodies all use the same heater core. '70-'72 heater cores are the same as the '63-'69 units except the '70-'72 cores have one 1/2" pipe and one 5/8" pipe to reduce the chance of heater core water flow noise.
