any word on dates for that roller rockers deal? I'd go with brass bushings at the fulcrum and roller tips, according to what Lou hass been taling with the manufacturer. Dates? prospects? ratios?

I think that may have died due to oiling issues.

would a full roller bearing take care of the oiling problem? The pop's and I seem to think that might take care of the problem. Also if anyone has an already built set I would be interested in the overall length of the rocker. Thanks

Oiling the roller tip and the valve guide, with those locations being "up-hill" is the problem.

I spoke with T&D and was satisfied that their design should work fine.

Doc's pic is of the early RAS units, I believe. I was just at Seymour's place and he had the latest generation RAS set, which had grooves on the bushings to allow better oiling. Looked to me like those could work fine. The ones I tried were early RAS units with no grooves and did not oil right. I need to check the ones I have to see if cutting grooves would solve their problem.

At this point, I am still interested in a T&D set, if it happens.

Lou
