so ive accepted that fact that im gonna have to give up my smaller pattern mags when im doin my disc swap on my 72 valiant.
but... the 73 dart wit 318 doner car has the larger size in the rear, which i assume is a 7-1/4 too. so if i dont wanna carry two spares i gotta swap axles right? theres not smaller bolt pattern hubs?

you can always have the rotors & axles re-drilled for the smaller bolt pattern-- if you so desire,

It is not possible to just swap axles, in the 7 1/4 small bolt pattern rear, to get large bolt pattern. You must swap the complete rear end housing.

its possible to get the rotors re drilled? all i need is the front to be legit.
i havnt takin anything apart yet, but what do the studs press into, the hub, and then thru the rotors, or what? just seeing what it would take to do this

Not a good idea from a safety perspective.

You cannot redrill the large pattern rotors to the 5 on 4" pattern. Aside from the stud circle, the center would have to be turned down smaller than possible. Even if this would work, it would not be easier, cheaper or quicker to do.

If you have the donor car, you could just use the whole large pattern setup, including the wheels. They are usually 14" wheels, so your present tires could be swapped on.
