My 7 1/4 rear end is slap wore out. My question, is this rear end worth rebuilding? Thought I got lucky at the boneyard the other day. Found a 76 v-8 Scamp, was sure there would be a 8 1/4 rear, NOT! It had a 7 1/4 rear also. If this rearend will work behind a 318, surely it must be ok for my slightly modified s/6. Also what gear ratios are available, 3.20 to 1?

The following is a list of stock rear ratios
for the 7 1/4" from 1965-1989 (yes some 88-89 Dips had square cover 2.76 ratio rears..., and some Dakotas from 87-91 got 3.55's...)

In no particular order:
3.90,3.55,2.93,3.23,3.91,2.94,2.76,2.47,2.26

I have a 7-1/4 rear end with 3.23 gears in it that I would sell. Came from a 1976 Dart. I'm in Minnesota
