I'm rebuilding a 225 slant in a '73 Valiant. The valve stem seals that came with the gasket kit have two different sizes. Six small ones and six higher seals. Because the old seals were almost disappeared i do not know what seal should go on what valve.

I think that the high ones should go on the exhaust. Is that correct?

The small seal goes on the exhaust valve stem, the large on the intake.
