Hi yall from texas, I have a 1974 plymouth duster that im restoring and I have a slant six but I looked at the id tag on the block and it reads G2-3261 anyone know what that means?

Welcome on the board. There were no ID tags used on these engines from the factory; all ID numbers were cast or stamped into the block. You have probably found some rebuilder's tag from sometime in the car's past. You may be able to find the engine's original ID numbers stamped into the ID pad at the top of the block deck (facing the sky), just below the frontmost spark plug, inboard of the ignition coil. You will probably have to scrape/clean away the grease and crud to find the numbers, if they're still there.
